Vespers of  the 4th Sunday of Lent
(Lætare Sunday)
Hebdomadary: Rev. Fr. Eugene Sta.Ana

4080 Hawk St, San Diego, CA 92103

Please join us at St. Vincent de Paul for Vespers of Lætare Sunday. The name is taken from the first word of the Introit, Lætare, which means "rejoice". The Apostle Paul, by quoting the prophet Isaiah,  invites us to rejoice with Jerusalem, to signify the joy of our approaching paschal redemption through the sacrifice on the cross of Our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hear and feel all this through Gregorian chant.

IT'S A BOY!!!

IT'S A BOY!!! Tonight, 25 March, 2014, at our regular Monday night rehearsal the Brothers had cause to celebrate the arrival of Gregory Matthew Covalt, the first child born to longtime Chorus Breviarii member and postulant to the Brothers, James Covalt and his lovely wive Vi. Congratulations to all the members of the Covalt family, and we wish them many, many years. Even in the desert of Lent we are in the midst of Life!

 Second Vespers of  St. Joseph
with Benediction
Hebdomadary: Rev. Fr. Burt J. Boudoin

990 Saturn Blvd, San Diego, CA 92154

Come to St. Charles in Imperial Beach and celebrate with us this great saint, who had the privilege of defending the Holy Family from the attacks of the enemy.  A great feast like this has two Vespers services, the first on the evening of the preceding day, and the second on the evening of the day itself. We will sing the second Vespers on the feast day of St. Joseph, the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster-father of Our Lord.

UPDATE:
For those who cannot attend in person, this event will be broadcast live at  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sdoratorians
