Reopen the Churches!

Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego

We invite our readers to write respectful requests to the diocese to reopen the churches to public Masses and other ceremonies. We do not argue against reasonable precautions such as social distance, sanitizing hands, or wearing masks. Moreover, we think that subjects at risk should refrain from attending public events. However, this unprecedented closure is uncalled for.

Sample request (please make it more personal, but limit yourself to fewer than 500 word):

I am not opposed to reasonable precautions but I respectfully ask the reopening of the churches of the diocese of San Diego to public celebrations of the Eucharist.

Happy Easter to all our friends and supporters! The resurrected Christ appears to the disciples and St. Thomas makes his confession of faith: the risen man before the apostle is also the true God, bestowing  great mercy upon mankind.  Due to the shutdown, the services will be performed behind closed doors and broadcasted live.
