Vespers of Septuagesima Sunday
Hebdomadary: Rev. Fr. Richard Perozich
In the ancient Roman Rite, it is on Septuagesima Sunday that the Alleluia ceases to be sung. It will not be heard again till Easter Sunday. This preparatory season helps us to set aside distractions before the start of Lent. In the Gospel, we hear the parable of the workers in the vineyard, which urges us to hasten to God's work.
