Please join us on Sunday, March 12 as we return to Immaculate Conception church in Old Town San Diego for Vespers. The theme of the 2nd Sunday of Lent is the transfiguration of Our Lord, by which His divine nature is manifested to Peter, James, and John. Christ is truly God and man in a single person, in a union without separation, confusion, or change. Hear this mystery through the timeless notes of Gregorian chant.

On Thursday February 2, we invite you  to St. John the Evangelist in Encinitas to the Traditional Latin Mass sung in honor of the purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. According to Mosaic Law, she had to wait 40 days after giving birth before bringing a sacrifice to the temple. She complied in the presence of Simeon the just and the prophetess Anna. On that day, as the Child Jesus is recognized as the Light of the World, candles are blessed and distributed to the faithful.
