Vespers of the 4th Sunday after Easter
with Benediction
Hebdomadary: Rev. Fr. Burt Boudoin

The atmosphere of Vespers is perfect for the slightly melancholic Sundays preceding the Ascension. Christ is about to leave His disciple and return to the Father, from Whom He was sent. This will fill the disciples with sadness but only temporarily. Soon the Father will pour the Holy Spirit to console and strengthen the orphaned disciples.  Vespers in the traditional Roman Rite will be sung at St. Charles in Imperial Beach this Sunday at 15:30 (3:30 P.M.).
