Our Antimension

As we explain in this movie, we made an antimension for the priests who celebrate Holy Mass for us. The antimension is used instead of an altar stone, where the relics of saints have been placed. In our antimension we have the relics of St. Cornelius Pope and St. George. The beautiful story of St. Geroge is found in the Golden Legend of Jacobus de Voragine.  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints.

Saturday, October 12, 10:00 (10:00 A.M.)

Sung Votive Mass of St. Philip Neri
in the Traditional Roman Rite

Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Harry Neely, O.S.A.
Because of circumstances beyond our control, we could not celebrate the feast day of our holy patron, St. Philip Neri, on May 26. Therefore we honor him belatedly with a votive sung Mass. This Traditional Latin Mass  will be celebrated at St. John of the Cross church in Lemon Grove. A polyphonic guest choir will sing the ordinary, while the brothers will sing the propers in Gregorian chant. Please join us.
