Photopost: 2nd Vespers of Pentecost

On Sunday, 24 May, 2015 the Brothers of the Little Oratory in San Diego, along with Chorus Breviarii members, sang second Vespers of the Feast of Pentecost. This was our first vesper service in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Old Town San Diego. Fr. André Ramos served as Hebdomadary.
Having made his first communion the day before, Luke Velasco joined the serving corps for the first time, with his father Jon.
The vespers were attended by approximately thirty congregants, not including those singing and serving, and also excluding numerous visitors to the church, who may or may not have ever seen a vesper service in progress. Due to the position of the church on the boundary of San Diego's "Old Town State Park" this kind of traffic may be expected.
The Brothers and CB members wish to thank Fr. Richard Perozich for his gracious permission to have vespers in Immaculate Conception, Fr. André Ramos for making the trip down from Ramona to celebrate, and to the parish for their patience with us as we try to add our efforts to the New Evangelization through solemn song. Laus Deo!
