Fr. James Bahash has invited us to commemorate the death anniversary of Msgr. Anthony Ferrero (d. Oct. 12, 2008) at St. John the Evangelist in Encinitas. We previously commemorated this occasion at St. John's with Lauds and a Pontifical Requiem six years ago, with Archbishop Cordileone as celebrant and Fr. James Bahash as subdeacon. Even further back in 2008, a month after Msgr. Ferrero's passing, Archbishop Cordileone (then just an auxiliary bishop of San Diego) celebrated a Pontifical Requiem at St. Mary's in Escondido. Come join us on this occasion to continue praying for the repose of the Monsignor's soul.
