The Brothers of the Little Oratory in San Diego and Chorus Breviarii San Diego are deeply saddened for the death of their Bishop, His Excellency Monsignor Cirilo Flores, who left us today. It is less than one year since we had the honor of holding the canopy while Bishop Flores walked in Eucharistic procession through the streets of Little Italy. Our Bishop's procession has come to a premature end. Now he does not carry the Blessed Sacrament any more, but sees Our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ face to face. Let us therefore pray that He may grant his servant to rest with the just until we all meet again on the Last Day. Our prayers are also for Bishop Flores's family and for the Diocese of San Diego.
