The Brothers and the Chorus Breviarii groups of San Diego and Murrieta were gladly joined by Fr. Stephen Porter, SVD, a priest offering the TLM in Palm Desert, CA, for the 23rd annual observance of Tenebrae on the night of Spy Wednesday. We had 18 men in choir and plenty of laity to pray with us in the pews. Tim Horning created the new Tenebrae hearse for CB Murrieta from pieces of the wooden crate that formerly held the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church. Allegri's Miserere was also sung at the appointed time by the HM Murrieta choir in the darkness of the church.
