Now is the time - St. Paul tells us - that is acceptable to God. It is the time, by God's grace, to reform our ways and to become His true servants. Against the temptation of the flesh, of the world, and of devil,  let our weapons  be prayer, fasting, and alms-giving. Come to St. Vincent de Paul for Vespers and hear these stern but necessary warnings sung in Gregorian chant.
